Lea Korzeczek and Matthias Hiller are the founders and creative directors of STUDIO OINK, which was founded in October 2013.
Lea was born and raised in Wiesbaden and studied interior architecture with a degree in 2013. Matthias was born and raised in Leipzig and studied industrial design and finished with a diploma in 2010. They are parents to two sons.
The studio is specialized in object and product design, creating customized concepts for high quality interior design for residential and commercial projects.
Apart from customized interior design the studio also helps with choosing good and suitable art and design objects for your home by constantly keeping an eye on the art scene, the market and new design trends.
The philosophy of STUDIO OINK is the balance between poetry and function, of simplicity and playfulness.
The studio always prioritizes natural and sustainable materials for their projects. The aging process - also called patina - of the furniture and the entire interior is just as important to STUDIO OINK as the conscious use of resources and materials. In addition to custom-made solutions, the studio likes to work with antique and used furniture that already shows traces of bygone days and would also like to sensitize its customers not to perceive this patina as a defect or inferiority, but to include it as a conscious and, above all, important element in the design. It is only in the traces that the real use and real life becomes apparent and thus clearly distinguishes the living space from a showroom. This is precisely why STUDIO OINK likes to work with handmade furniture and a wide variety of art objects - they show the traces of manual work and bring humanity into the interior.

Lea Korzeczek und Matthias Hiller sind die Kreativ Direktoren von STUDIO OINK, welches im Oktober 2013 gegründet wurde.
Lea, geboren und aufgewachsen in Wiesbaden, hat ihr Innenarchitekturstudium mit dem Bachelor of Arts in 2013 abgeschlossen. Matthias, geboren und aufgewachsen in Leipzig, beendete sein Studium an der Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle im Fach Industriedesign mit seinem Diplom in 2010. Sein Schwerpunkt im Studium lag im Bereich des Möbeldesigns. Sie sind Eltern zweier gemeinsamen Söhne.
Das Studio ist spezialisiert auf maßgeschneiderte hochwertige Interior Konzepte für den privaten und öffentlichen Raum, sowie auf Objekt- und Produktdesign.
Die Philosophie von STUDIO OINK ist die Balance zwischen Poesie und Funktion, zwischen Einfachheit und Verspieltem.
Für Ihre Projekte wählt das Studio stets vorrangig natürliche und nachhaltige Materialien aus. Ebenso wichtig, wie der bewusste Umgang mit Ressourcen und Materialien, ist STUDIO OINK der Alterungsprozess- auch Patina genannt- der Möblierung und des gesamten Interieurs. Das Studio arbeitet gerne ergänzend zu maßgefertigten Lösungen mit antiken und gebrauchten Möbeln, die bereits Spuren vergangener Tage zeigen und möchte ihre Kunden auch dahingehend sensibilisieren diese Patina nicht als Fehler oder Minderwertigkeit wahrzunehmen, sondern als bewusstes und vor allem wichtiges Element in die Gestaltung mit aufzunehmen. Zeigt sich in den Spuren doch erst die echte Benutzung und das echte Leben und unterscheidet den Wohn und Lebensraum somit ganz deutlich von einem Showroom. Gerade auch deshalb arbeitet STUDIO OINK gerne mit handgefertigten Möbeln und unterschiedlichsten Kunstobjekten- sie zeigen die Spuren der händischen Tätigkeit und bringen Menschlichkeit ins Interieur.
